Ahsan Raza was travelling with match referee Chris Broad, field umpire Simon Taufel and the TV and reserve umpires when the militants opened fire on their bus in 2009. Ahsan has been picked as one of the umpires for the upcoming Zimbabwe series, the first on Pakistan soil in six years.
