Why are the Logies such a massive sausagefest?

Every year since 1984, the TV Week Logies have bestowed a Hall of Fame award "on a person or program who has made an outstanding contribution to Australian television."

Past winners include Bud Tingwell, Bert Newton, Molly Meldrum and Play School.

Yep, there are more soft toys in the Logies Hall of Fame than women.

It's Ruth Cracknell! In 2001, after a 56-year career spanning theatre, film and television actress became the first woman to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
