This week Ella went to the hospital, where she's previously stayed for months at a time before. Her survival rate is reportedly low, and her parents have already called hospice twice, according to NewsOK .

When Make-A-Wish Missouri asked what she wanted most, Ella requested a playhouse in her backyard.

At first, everything seemed to be going well. The shingles of the house were even going to match the ones throughout the neighborhood, KCTV reported.

"The proposed plan they've given us is a violation of our covenants," Stonegate HOA board president Stacy Bayers told KCTV, who did not elaborate on the details of the dispute.
